Next Meeting Monday December 10th

We will be meeting next on Monday December 10th, we will be Christmas Carolling outdoors, so dress warmly. After the singing we will head inside for hot chocolate!

Monday November 10th

We had our potluck today, and also a nice time of fellowship.

Today Mike shared about Diligence and Perseverance.

Diligence is leaving or showing care, being conscientious, having a steady and earnest effort.

Perseverance is a steadfastness through difficulty when there is a delay in acheiving one's goal.

How does God speak to us? The main ways He will speak to us are through:
1. Prayer
2. The Word, the Bible
3. Church (the speaker)

Hebrews 11:6 Be honest with ourselves. There could be something in our lives that God is trying to show us that we may not wish to deal with.

Finally, Kate talked about Manja Tamang a preacher from Nepal who was unjustly imprisoned. He was walking and discovered a body, and then was falsely accused of being the murderer. He then was sentenced to 20 years in prison (more of the story is here).

Potluck and Life Group on Monday November 12

Our next meeting is on Monday November 12 and it will be a potluck. The potluck is first, so don't be late. :-) The eating will commence at 6 p.m.
